University projects feature in this year’s prestigious Building Magazine awards

The University Design Forum knows that Universities make great clients for designers and true to form, several University projects feature in this year’s prestigious Building magazine awards, with the winners to be announced at a gala dinner on Tuesday 7^th November. Representation comes in several categories.

Project of the Year:

• HLM Architects, The Wave – University of Sheffield Faculty of Social Sciences
• HOK, University of Glasgow Advanced Research Centre

Digital Excellence Award:

• University of Glasgow Net Zero Campus

International Project of the Year:

• The University of Birmingham, The University of Birmingham Dubai

Net Zero Award:

• Aecom, University of Salford Energy House 2.0

Offsite Project of the Year:

• HLM Architects, National Manufacturing Institute Scotland for University of Strathclyde,

Retrofit/ Refurbishment Project of the Year:

• Hall McKnight, Quadrangle Building, King’s College London
• MCW architects, St John’s College, Cambridge – New Dining Room, Bar and Cafe
