Join us for a tour and discussion led by the winners of Building’s Higher Education Architect of the Year Award, MCW architects, on 7th February 2024 at Anglia Ruskin University Peterborough – the UK’s newest university.

ARU Peterborough’s signature building, University House, has been designed first and foremostly as a civic asset for the community. Open to the public, it aims to facilitate connections between higher education and the local community in an area of the UK that is in the bottom 10% for skills levels. Delivered via a unique partnership between the Cambridge and Peterborough Combined Authority, Peterborough City Council and ARU, the site is an accessible, contemporary, welcoming, and sustainable focal point for the city. With Phase 2 complete, and Phase 3 on site aiming to deliver a publicly accessible ‘Living Lab’ to inspire and engage the city and wider region in technologies and careers of the future, it’s sure to be an illuminating event.

The tour will be followed by a panel discussion (speakers tbc) and debate.
