The challenges and complexities of academic space

The sector continues to wrestle with the tension between open/collaborative spaces and traditional cellular offices. Academia is sometimes referred to as the last bastion of the old notion of an enclosed office. This can be a difficult and controversial subject and this debate will use case studies and experiences to illustrate good practice.
